The technologies we have developed in our over 100 years of history enable us to propose emergency-use wells (for disaster prevention) that are tailored to the needs of the local community.

This is an emergency-use well installed in the grounds of Nissaku. The hand pump attached to the well uses in the pumping part a bellows expansion type that does not require
excessive force to operate. Further, since the structure of the well is such that the pumping part is below the water level, there is no need to prime the well; even in a well with low groundwater level, the well demonstrates excellent pumping capacity.

In addition to vertical electrical prospecting, we use high-density electrical prospecting
that can show the subsurface in two-dimensional cross-section, to obtain an understanding of the subsurface, including the situation relating to aquifers. We also carry out groundwater surveys in bedrock areas using electromagnetic sounding (TEM horizontal loop
method) or radioactivity survey. Using these data we also look at the reserves of groundwater, its recharge rate and plans for use, and offer proposals for the conservation of the groundwater environment.
